Melbourne Wedding and Family Photography

There’s something so special about seeing past wedding clients again, especially when they’ve grown into a family. Steph and Reece were the stars of a surprise wedding ceremony in 2017. Now, years later, it was an absolute joy of capturing them in a new chapter of life… this time with their beautiful baby boy in tow!

A Home Full of Heart

This session began at home, where grandparents were visiting and the energy was full of love (and a little baby giggling chaos). The natural light spilling through the skylight and bouncing off the kitchen wall was a dream! Capturing cuddles, conversations, and quiet little glances in their own space felt relaxed and real, which is exactly how I love to approach family photography.

Footy Jerseys & Golden Hour

Steph and Reece even brought a bit of playfulness to the shoot by pulling on their rival footy jerseys. Baby boy has some decisions ahead! We were joined by the grandparents again for a few multigenerational portraits. These are the photos that often become the most cherished… moments that tell the story of legacy and love across generations.

Golden Hour

Later that afternoon, we headed to the park as the sun dipped low… always the best time for that warm, flattering light. Steph and Reece, being total pros from their wedding days, knew exactly how to time it. 

Six Years Later… Magic

As a wedding and family photographer, there’s nothing more meaningful than getting to document a couple’s evolving love story from newlyweds to parents. Six years on from their wedding, Steph and Reece were just as wonderful to work and so much love radiated between them, which shone through the images they were so delighted to receive.
