Held on May 4th (yes — Star Wars Day), their celebration was filled with warmth, beauty, and a little sparkle from the galaxy. ✨ It was such a joy to document this gorgeous autumn wedding and all the heartfelt moments it held.
A Chapel Ceremony Full of Light and Emotion
Poet’s Lane is one of those venues that already feels like a fairytale, but add Elizabeth’s walk down the aisle and Adam’s teary-eyed reaction, and you’ve got something truly unforgettable. The light streamed through stained-glass windows, flowers and candles softened the space, and love hung in the air like music. The ceremony was intimate, emotional, and just right.
Autumn Wedding Photography Magic in the Gardens
After the vows, we headed into Poet’s Lane’s lush gardens for portraits. The golden-hour light filtering through just-turned leaves was glorious – deep reds, warm oranges, and soft greens everywhere. It was peak autumn in the best way. Elizabeth and Adam’s bridal party brought all the joy and elegance, and their couple portraits are some of my absolute favourites from the season. Dreamy! As the sun dipped lower, everyone moved into the reception space for speeches, cake-cutting, and a dance floor that did not disappoint. The joy in the room was contagious — laughter, happy tears, and some very impressive dance moves flowed freely. Poet’s Lane knows how to host a party, and this night was no exception.
Night Portraits Among the Fairy Lights
Before the night ended, we snuck away for a few minutes to capture portraits under the twinkling fairy lights. Poet’s Lane by night is like a secret garden — glowing archways, stone bridges, and lantern-lit paths create a whole new kind of romance. Elizabeth and Adam leaned into the moment, and the photos we captured under the stars are honestly breathtaking.
