GPO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
The GPO in Melbourne is a famous historical building. Initially completed in 1860, it has had many additions and restorations. From post office to shopping hub, it has undergone many transformations. It now boasts a lovely venue called Alto, the perfect place for Lisa & Myles’ Melbourne GPO wedding. We were utterly delighted to be a part of their wedding, and we’re stoked to show you some of the highlights from their wedding day!
Getting Ready In Melbourne's Hotels
There are literally hundreds of hotels in Melbourne. A large number of them are perfect for getting ready for your wedding. A wedding in the CBD affords you almost limitless choice. Lisa chose to get ready at Melbourne’s RACV Club on Bourke Street. It’s a lovely venue and the staff are always very accommodating when you want to have wedding photography there.
The boys got ready for their GPO Melbourne wedding photography in another of Melbourne’s hotels. They chose Citadine’s, which is also on Bourke street. Using the hotels in Melbourne as a base for getting ready is a great option for those who live a bit far out of Melbourne. There are plenty of awesome spots to take photos too.
MELBOURNE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY AT THE GPO
Alto event space is a gorgeous venue inside the GPO building. It has a lot of natural light so it is a good spot to hold your wedding. They are experts at catering and looking after their wedding clients. Lisa and Myles made an inspired choice, as there ceremony and party was exactly as they desired. And their GPO Melbourne wedding photography session in-between the service and reception provided a great set of photos for their photo album. Being located in the heart of Melbourne is a big plus for the GPO. There are so many of Melbourne’s famous landmarks within easy reach. The GPO building also provides enough space for gorgeous wedding photography itself, in case the day is rainy or your time is running short.
Alto Event Space above the GPO is the perfect venue for your all-in-one wedding. They are super organised, very accommodating and work very closely to ensure that your event goes off without a hitch. Lisa & Myles chose very well, and the photos they have to treasure wouldn’t have been as easy without such a great venue.
