Amy and Al’s wedding at The Gables in leafy East Malvern was everything a classic garden celebration should be, elegant, intimate, and full of charm. It was such a delight to capture these timeless moments for Amy and Al with their loved ones.
Portraits & Celebration
After the ceremony, we stayed on site for family photos and a relaxed portrait session around the garden and classic architecture of The Gables. There was no need to travel – the venue truly had everything in one place. The surrounding streets and leafy vistas added a graceful, timeless feel to the photos, and the couple looked effortlessly radiant the entire way through.
As Amy and Al were introduced into their reception, the joy in the room was unmistakable! Laughter, heartfelt speeches, and warm hugs all around. It was the kind of gathering that felt like a celebration of not just two people, but of the community they’ve built around them.
Sister Magic
This wedding came with a little extra sparkle — the kind that happens when you’re reunited with familiar faces. One of Amy’s bridesmaids was Caitlin, whose wedding to her wonderful husband Paul I’d previously photographed. We had so much fun capturing their Studley Park Boathouse wedding photography, and it was such a joy to reconnect at Amy and Al’s celebration. There’s something especially lovely about seeing familiar faces — guests who remember me, already excited knowing how much these photos will be treasured. Being trusted a second time by the same families and friend groups means the world, and it brings an extra layer of warmth and ease to everything I capture.
