Victoria Barracks Wedding Photography
Nathalie and Juv's Victoria Barracks wedding took us all over the CBD. An absolute highlight of their day was their photoshoot at Victoria Barracks. Couples and their photographers need to organise a permit for this location. This is because the Australian Defence Force owns it, and so it is a military location. It is a glorious backdrop with all the ivy covering the beautiful old buildings! We hope you enjoy browsing through the photos of their wonderful day.
This busy wedding day was definitely one to remember. Nathalie and Juv were blessed with fantastic weather and managed to fit a lot of locations and events into their timeline. We started out with the "getting ready" shots, which were on two different floors of the same apartment building in South Melbourne. This worked really well, and the bridal games and parental blessings were beautiful to capture.
Wedding Photography at the Old Treasury Building
Next, we moved on to their ceremony, which was a small and intimate ceremony in the Old Treasury Building, right in Melbourne's CBD. Nathalie and Juv decided to only invite their nearest and dearest to this section of the day. It was a delight to wander along for their Treasury Gardens wedding photography after the ceremony. From there, we went straight to the beautiful Victoria Barracks for wedding photography. It is ideal for couple and group shots.
Melbourne Wedding Photography at Docklands
Our final stop was Docklands, where Nathalie and Juv had booked the fantastic venue, Sumac. Sadly, this Central Pier venue has since closed. We hope something else will open up there in its place, as it is a beautiful location. Sumac had a Middle Eastern and Moroccan theme, which gave it a very exotic feel. The sunset from the end of the pier was irresistible, so we popped out to get some extra portraits at exactly the right time. The Bolte Bridge and water in the background of these portraits definitely make them pop. Nathalie and Juv were such a delight to photograph and we are grateful that they chose us to be their Victoria Barracks wedding photography team.
