Amy and Dylan’s wedding at Vines of the Yarra Valley was always destined to be something special. From the moment the sun rose over the vineyards to the final dance of the evening, this day was overflowing with love, laughter, and beauty. Capturing it all through the lens was such a joy – and this outrageously stunning venue made the job a dream.

Getting Ready in Style

The morning began with the guys at the stunning Yering Gorge Cottages, where sweeping views and rustic luxury set the tone for the day. Meanwhile, Amy and her bridesmaids prepared in the bridal lounge at Vines of the Yarra Valley. The soft natural light in both locations was perfect for quiet, heartfelt moments… including Amy and Dylan reading personal letters they’d written for each other. Emotional, genuine, and utterly – poetically – photogenic.

A Stunning Ceremony at Vines of the Yarra Valley

With panoramic views of the Yarra Ranges and vineyards that stretch for miles, Vines of the Yarra Valley is a picture-perfect ceremony location. Their west-facing outlook guarantees sunset magic every day of the year, but even at midday, the backdrop was glowing. Amy’s father walked her down the aisle in a heartfelt moment that moved many to tears. The ceremony was led by the wonderful Julia Handford, whose warmth and storytelling style helped create an unforgettable atmosphere. Amy’s radiant Mariana Hardwick gown caught the light beautifully, and her hair, styled by Kelly from KX Hair Design, looked flawless all day. As Amy’s father walked her down the aisle, the emotion was palpable. You could feel the hairs standing up on nearly everyone’s neck!

Sunset Portraits

As the sun dipped behind the hills, it was time for golden hour portraits. The vineyard rows, the long grass, the soft evening light – every element came together for a truly cinematic result.

A Wildly Fun Reception

Then it was time to celebrate! The reception buzzed with energy: incredible food, heartfelt speeches, and a packed dance floor thanks to the legendary DJ Meex, who kept the vibe high all night long. Seriously – it has been a privilege to recommended this angel of music to lots of couples… and the resulting dance-floor photos always speak for themselves!
