WARRANDYTE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
As wedding photographers, my partner Michelle and I have had the pleasure of capturing many beautiful moments between couples. One such couple was Catherine and Simon, who had a stunning Warrandyte wedding that we were fortunate enough to photograph. Before we headed to the wedding venue, Michelle and I met the girls at Hair Co. in Warrandyte to photograph them getting ready for the big day.
It was a special day for us, as it was Michelle's birthday. But we didn't mind spending it surrounded by love, laughter and happy moments. We knew that we were going to be a part of something extraordinary. That kept us excited and focused throughout the day.
A Wedding at Home
The wedding was held at the family property in Warrandyte, a gorgeous location. The bridesmaids had worked hard to make sure that the decorations were perfect. They had done an excellent job. The floral arrangements and table settings were stunning. They had managed to make the property look even more beautiful than it already was.
The wedding was initially planned in the garden, but the weather had other plans. It was rainy during the part of the day when the ceremony was scheduled. Naturally, with the rain, it had to be moved indoors. That didn't dampen anyone's spirits. Their loved ones surrounded Catherine and Simon, and that's all that mattered.
Who's a Good Page Boy?
One of the highlights of the ceremony was when their Golden Retriever brought the rings down the aisle. He'd been rehearsing all week! However, he forgot to rehearse his wet weather plan and needed some coaching indoors! Later, he decided to take a dip in the pool, which was hilarious!
Warrandyte Wedding - Portrait Time!
After the ceremony, we took group shots in the yard, as the rain had cleared off by then. The sun had come out and the weather was perfect. We managed to get some great shots, and everyone was having a great time posing for the camera.
Then we took Catherine and Simon to their favourite spots along the Yarra River for a Warrandyte wedding photography session. The scenery was breathtaking, and we managed to capture some unforgettable moments that they will cherish forever. Their smiles were infectious!
Wedding Reception in Warrandyte
When we returned to the reception, it was in full swing. The speeches were heartwarming, the food was delicious, and the dance floor was packed. The band had set up inside, and they were rocking! When it came time to let her hair down, Catherine needed a little help. I'm not sure a big ol' knife was what she had in mind!
Michelle and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at their wedding, and we wish them all the best for the future. It was a beautiful day that we will never forget, and we are grateful for the opportunity to capture such precious moments. As Warrandyte wedding photographers, it is always a joy to work with such amazing couples, and we look forward to capturing more memories in the future.
