From the moment you first reach out, I’m here to make things feel simple, thoughtful, and personal. Choosing a photographer should feel like one of the easiest and most exciting parts of that journey. We’ll start with a relaxed conversation, whether that’s by email, phone, or FaceTime, so I can get a feel for your vibe, your hopes, and what matters most to you. No pressure, no sales pitch. Just a genuine chat to make sure we’re a good fit. If you decide to go ahead (yay!), I’ll walk you through what to expect, help you plan timelines if needed, and keep communication open the whole way through. I’ve been doing this for over ten years now, so I know how to read the room, “pivot” when needed, and make even the most camera-shy feel confident and seen.
On the day, I’ll be there with calm energy, a keen eye, and a sense of humour… blending in when it matters and gently guiding when needed. I’ll work closely with your other vendors and make sure the photography never feels like an interruption to your celebration. After the event, your photos will be carefully curated, lovingly edited, and delivered in a stunning online gallery, ready to download, share, print, and relive again and again. Some people have a true eye for beauty, and June is absolutely one of them. A talented maker, painter and baker, June is the creative heart behind Jewel and Bloom. I first met her years ago when she wove all the floral magic for her own wedding and I was instantly blown away by her incredible natural flair for design. Since then, June has continued to nurture a quiet, authentic business filled with colour, artistry, and often a focus on using native Australian floral elements. From intricate bouquets to showstopping displays, her floral designs feel joyful, artful, and uniquely alive. With an intuitive understanding of balance, texture and movement, June’s arrangements capture the same spirit of natural, candid beauty that I love in photography. Souri & Andreas – Mentors & Documentary Wedding Photographers
Early in the life of Pause The Moment (around 2014), Souri and Andreas generously shared their talent and insight, helping to shape the creative and candid style that has since brought hundreds of happy clients into my world. Together, we drew inspiration from photographers like Jose Villa and his contemporaries, blending dreamy, light-filled palettes with candid, emotional storytelling to craft a signature style that feels both timeless and editorial. Their mentorship (and friendship) taught me not just how to capture moments, but how to elevate them: creating elegant, magazine-worthy imagery that clients treasure for a lifetime. In over ten years of photographing weddings, I’ve never once needed to hand a wedding over due to an unforeseen curveball… and fingers crossed, it stays that way! Full disclosure: Katey is my sister – but even if she weren’t, she’s exactly the kind of extraordinary creator I would be shouting about from the rooftops. With no website, no whisper of promotion, and only a modest social media presence, her work speaks for itself: exquisite, imaginative, and crafted with unmatched artistry that has people saving her name for future celebrations. Her cakes are not just desserts; they are edible masterpieces. From handmade blooms so lifelike they fool florists, to whimsical creations like Thomas the Tank Engine trains, mushroom fairy houses, and moss-covered tree stump cakes, every piece she makes is filled with wonder, precision, and creativity. She has trained in advanced sugar art to create unbelievable floral work and at other times incorporates stunning fresh flowers into her designs. She works only with the highest quality ingredients: think marzipan, ganache, pistachio cream, real passionfruit curd, and mousse layers so delicate they seem to float. ‘Cake Me Katey’ is the nemesis of mass production: her creations are unique handmade treasures. She has created breathtaking wedding cakes, including a showstopping orchid-adorned masterpiece for my brother and sister-in-law. She pours so much time, love, and artistic spirit into each project that she rarely takes on new clients, but if you’re lucky enough to secure her precious time you’ll be treated to something truly unforgettable.
