The day started at the beautiful Pegasus Hotel with Lisa-Marie and her bridesmaids on the fifth floor. The autumn sunshine was crisp but bright as the girls started early to ensure everything was ready for Lisa’s big day. Lisa was sure on the ball with all the little details that helped make her big day perfect. Meanwhile, the boys were cool, calm and collected – relaxing with Prateek at his parents’ house. We were super excited to embark on this West Melbourne wedding photography journey!
WEST MELBOURNE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHERS AT A GORGEOUS CHURCH
St. Mary’s Star of the Sea in West Melbourne is stunning. It was constructed from 1892-1900. This bluestone Catholic church simply has to be seen to be believed. It is one of the most beautiful churches these two wedding photographers have ever seen. Father Anthony informed us that the church recently underwent an interior restoration. It was entirely funded by the parishioners. Lisa and Prateek’s fairytale Melbourne wedding ceremony had just about every emotion, and as a result, tissues were the order of the day.
CBD WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
Lisa-Marie wanted her wedding day photo session to keep with the Melbourne theme, however there needed to be plenty of time and light to get her photos just right. Consequently, we headed to Carlton Gardens to minimize travel time. Lisa had timed the sunset light just perfectly, so we were able to capture some stunning photos of everyone out the front of the Exhibition building. As the sun went down and the temperature dropped, this West Melbourne wedding photography party decided to move to the next stage – the party!

The food is first-class, and the staff are excellent and friendly. Lisa and Prateek chose well when they decided to host their reception here! You should have seen the entrance they made!
